In the energy sector, risk is not new.
It has always existed \u2014 in sourcing, in transportation, and in production itself.<\/p>

What has changed is this: risk now has to be disclosed.<\/p>

The question is no longer just where a product comes from.
The question is whether you can demonstrate how it was produced, how it was transported, and how it reached you.<\/p>

Within the framework of CBAM and the evolving regulatory landscape, this means:<\/p>

\u2013 traceability of origin
\u2013 visibility over the energy mix
\u2013 compliance with emissions requirements<\/p>

This fundamentally changes how transactions are structured.<\/p>

Risk does not disappear. It becomes measurable, documented, and verifiable.<\/p>

And once risk becomes visible, it starts to directly impact:<\/p>

\u2013 pricing
\u2013 market access
\u2013 whether a transaction can take place at all<\/p>

Until recently, this was a question of efficiency.
